Yale Material Handling Corporation is a producer of forklift trucks and other material handling equipment. The company was founded in 1844 by Linus Yale Jr. in Connecticut, USA. While starting as a lock manufacturer, Yale broadened to material handling in 1875. With manufacturing in England, the international success-story started in the 1930s. They added Gas, Propane and diesel-powered forklifts to their range in the 1950s. Nowadays Yale has 12 manufacturing locations all around the globe, producing high quality components and assembling complete trucks for the different world markets. The Yale Materials Handling Corporation is part of Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc ("Hyster-Yale"). Hyster Yale was formed in 2012 following a spin-off from NACCO Industries
