Acclaim Handling, established in 1982 by David Woods, has grown into a leading forklift and materials handling specialist in the UK. Our journey began in Bishops Stortford, with the vision to offer an unparalleled level of service, earning us an "acclaimed" reputation in the industry. We were the first in the UK to introduce the STILL product range, expanding our portfolio and solidifying our commitment to quality and innovation.

Our strategic expansions led us to establish multiple depots, including Acclaim Handling Spalding, Norwich, Rugby, and Kent, each acquisition marking a significant step in our growth story. We further diversified our offerings by founding 'Accstor', a warehouse storage business, and became an official Hyundai dealer, broadening our range of materials handling equipment.

Our dedication to excellence was recognized when we won the "Dealer of the Year" award from the Fork Lift Truck Association, a testament to our relentless pursuit of quality service. Despite the passing of our founder, David Woods, we continue to uphold his legacy, celebrating our 40th anniversary with eight regional support centres across the nation.
