The high lift pallet truck is another variant from the category of the pallet truck. It is available with manual or mechanical stroke. The manual version has a hydraulic pump operated by hand or by foot. To lower the goods, the operator slowly opens a valve. The hand-operated stacker has a lifting capacity of up to 1,200 kg and a maximum lifting height of up to 2,000 mm. However, the high-lift pallet truck with electric drive, whose load-bearing capacity is up to 2.5 tons and can reach heights of up to 5,500 mm, is more widespread. The operator always runs with the device. In the electro version, he is standing on the driver's seat. High-lift trucks are used throughout the logistics industry for their maneuverability and ease of handling, complementing the forklift and hand stacker product line.
Well-known manufacturers are, for example, Hanselifter, Linde, Jungheinrich, Pramac, Toyota, Still, Crown and Baka.
