West Equipment is a company specialized in import and export of all sort of heavy machinery. From mini excavators, crawler- and wheel excavators to wheel loaders, bulldozers and dumptrucks.

The company was founded in 2006 by the owner Miniek Weststrate, who comes from a family dealing in agri-culture equipment. In his young years Miniek chose to follow his own path and decided to start working as an operator of all sorts of heavy equipment, which brought him from Belgium to South-Africa and even New Zealand.

After many years of being an operator, Miniek saw that there was a market in used machinery and so he decided to step into the trading business. Due to his years of experience, being able to operate almost any machine, the company grew to the size it has today. With business all over the world, West Equipment is a known player on today’s market.

Due to its unique location, West Equipment is able to load and supply to 2 of the major ports in Europe, Antwerp and Rotterdam. Next to that we are able to use the port of Vlissingen as well on just 30 minutes drive away.
