Established in the late 1960s by Gilbert McClean, a small family company has developed into the the Forktruck Warehouse we know today. Managing Directors Mark and Simon McClean have been part of the expanding company since the days when they were merely knee high to a pallet.

The year 1991 saw major expansion within the company, and the move to a larger headquarters on Burscough Industrial Estate signified the birth of Forktruck Warehouse as we know it.

After many years of successful business, 2004 brought the introduction of our attachments and heavy hire departments. For over forty years, Forktruck Warehouse has met the needs of many valued customers including the produce, haulage, chemical and packaging industries.

Forktruck Warehouse has subsequently become the leading forklift provider of the northwest, and we are now forming many new international relationships across several continents. Here at Forktruck Warehouse, we continue to take pride in our unparalleled reputation for expertise, customer satisfaction and commitment to ensuring that we bring you a service of the highest calibre.

In 2006 we moved to our current premises in the city of Liverpool which allowed us to forge additional links with new customers around the globe. We are 5 minutes away from John Lennon International Airport and within close reach of all the major motorway networks of the region.

We are always looking to expand on our business and take pride in our wide customer base that reaches from Birkenhead to Sydney, and we will always enjoy providing the highest standard of customer service in the industry.
